# Internal conversation in a signature request
You can use an internal conversation to make notes related to the signature request, share files, and discuss matters with other members of your organisation.

**The conversation is for internal use only.** Its content is visible only to users in your organisation with whom the signature request has been shared.

To start an internal conversation, select **Start internal conversation** at the bottom of the page.
The conversation opens in the right-hand panel. Write the first message to start the conversation. You can also share files in the conversation.
The internal conversation is visible to users in your organisation who have been invited to the signature request. When new internal users are added to the signature request, they also gain access to the internal conversation.
